The Three Muses want to see our pockets. Nothing but a handkerchief there. But two years ago I made a picture of the content of my son's pocket before putting his coat in the washing machine. This is from one pocket. The other pocket was full of sand. I did not alter the picture. I think it's good the way it is. / The Three Muses willen onze zakken zien.

Liefs Kim
Good heavens! What-all was he carrying in there? And WHY??? Is it traditional in the Netherlands to keep one pocket full of sand (to soak up the sea if a dike breaks?).
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBingo!!!!!!!!!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenJust perfect!!!!!
That is so delightful. There's something very special and telling about the contents of a son's pockets! I found about 10 stones in my son's school bag last night. He told me he was starting a collection!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a joyful photographic memory. It just makes me smile. Mysterious and wonderful "boy treasures". Thank you so much for sharing. I'm excited to see what this challenge is bringing to us!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenJose, I love your most original idea about pockets. Isn't it amazing what some people, especially boys, can fit into one small pocket. The photo is priceless. You should frame it and hang it on your son's wall!! It is perfect for the challenge. Thanks so much for participating this week.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThis is truly a 'real still life', Jose, great idea to use the picture now!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHaa haa boys and their pockets, your son will look back at this and wonder at all those things. This is a delightful photo and memory and it's a wonderful take on the challenge.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLove this! Made me smile :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI have no idea what most of the stuff is but your son is obviously an avid collector of things that could be useful some time or other!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAli xx
What a wonderful photo, it makes me smile.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI see a start of a grand adventure there.

Great idea ! Love it !
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt's amazing what a pocket will hold and the creative stories that will come from the contents- brilliant work!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGreat idea, Jose, and great photo! I think we should take more pictures of our everyday life - we will appreciate them one day, and nobody else is going to take them for us, we have to do it ourselves. Wonderful take on the theme!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenso glad you got that stuff out BEFORE washing! i use to never check pockets and it cost me a new washing machine. you wouldn't believe what BB's will do to the mechanics of a washer!! love your entry jose!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenthat's a real boy , it must have been stuffed full.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThis will make a wonderful scrappage
Now, that's brilliant!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThis is a great picture and idea, Jose!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAh yes, memories of boys and their pockets. Isn't it amazing what they pick up and hide away. Sometimes the surprises aren't so pleasant! Once I found a dead grasshopper. I love your photograph and your original idea on the theme. Fantastic.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLooks like my husband's pockets!! Little boys just get bigger. This is great. Cheers!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenEen hele verzameling!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love seeing what other people have in their pockets and bags. A book of photos like this would make a great book, don't you think?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI also like seeing the food people buy at the market. (Then again, maybe I'm just too curious).
Great post!
