Circles

Cirkels: het thema deze week bij The Three Muses. Ik moest denken aan een werkstuk van Hermine van lang geleden. Groene cirkels met witte randen. Ik heb dat een beetje nagemaakt met dank aan Hermine. En ook nog een cirkel met pretletters. /Circles: the theme at 3M this week. It made me think of a piece of Hermines Place from long ago, green circles with white borders. I made something like that. With thanks to Hermine. And also a circle with fun lettering.

Ohlala

Deze week is OHLALA het thema bij 3M . Parijs, Frankrijk.... This week OOLALA is the theme at The Three Muses. Paris, France.....

Mind (fulness) Map

Allereerst voor iedereen een heel gelukkig 2012! Mijn eerste creatieve uitdaging van dit jaar is weer van The Three Muses. Thema is deze week : landkaart. /First I wish everybody a happy new year! My first creative challenge this year is from The Three Muses. This week the theme is Maps.

More journal pages

Almost every evening I draw and write in my journal. It's mindfullness, it's relaxing and it's fun. No need for perfection, just letters and colors.

Sadness/Verdriet

The Three Muses want something with geometric figures. I made a journal page with a half circle. The text in the circle is about grief. 'Let my grief be bigger than yours so I can put it around your grief like arms.' (please don't mind this poor translation) . It's from a poem of a Belgian writer: Herman de Coninck. / The Three Muses willen iets met geometrische figuren. Ik heb een journal page gemaakt met een halve cirkel. De tekst in de cirkel is van de Belgische dichter Herman de Conick.

Hair

De drie muzen hebben deze week een erg leuke uitdaging. Haar!! Wat kan je je daar lekker mee uitleven. Ik heb 'droedel'haar gemaakt. Terwijl je bijvoorbeeld aan de telefoon bent ben je gedachteloos aan het tekenen op een kladje papier. Dat wordt geloof ik 'droedelen' genoemd. En mocht je je afvragen hoe mijn eigen haar eruit ziet..... niet zo! :) De scan werd donkerder dan het origineel en alle gouden glinstering is te niet te zien./ This weeks challenge at The Three Muses is so much fun. Hair!! You can really go wild with that theme. When you're on the phone you can make thoughtless drawings. Well that's what I did and I made very big hair with it. In case you're wondering what my hair looks like.... not like this! :) The scan came out to be a bit darker than the original and it doesn't show all the golden sparkles.

Outside the box
