Nest

Het thema bij Sunday Postcard Art is nesten. Dit plaatje had ik nog liggen en bij deze vogels denk ik al snel aan babies. /The theme at SPA is nests. This picture was laying around somewhere. These birds are believed to deliver babies so I put a baby on the card.

Bathing beauties

Lekker geknutseld met nieuwe (geleende) stempels en nieuwe chalk kleuren. Met dank aan Kim voor de stempels. Dit is mijn bijdrage voor Sunday Postcard Art. /This is my entry for SPA. I used one of my new (=borrowed) stamps and my new chalk colours. Kim thank you for the stamps.

Mother/Moeder

Twee uitdagingen gecombineerd: Sunday Postcard Art en Art Creations Friday. Ik heb een foto van mijn moeder gebruikt waarop ze net zo oud was als ik nu ben. De trouwfoto van mijn ouders is ook weer van pas gekomen. / A combination of two challenges: SPA and ACF. I used a picture of my mother on which she was as old as I am now. My parents marriage picture came in handy again.

Mardi Gras

Hier is mijn bijdrage voor Sunday Postcard Art. Het thema is Mardi Gras. Het carnavalsfeest van New Orleans waar kralenkettingen een belangrijke rol spelen. Paars, groen en goud zijn belangrijke kleuren dus die heb ik gebruikt./ This is my entry for Sunday Postcard Art. The theme is Mardi Gras. The New Orleans carnival party where strings of beads play an important role as do the colors purple, green and gold.

Bij Sunday Postcard Art is het thema stoelen. Ik heb even moeten zoeken maar toen heb ik een babyfoto van mijn oudste dochter gevonden. Daar ben ik mee gaan rommelen en dit is het resultaat. / At Sunday Postcard Art the theme is chairs. I had to search the house to come up with this baby picture of my oldest daughter. I changed it a bit and this is the result.
